Hours of work:
Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00 (45 minutes lunch)
Friday: 08:30 - 16:00 (1 hour lunch)
About the role of Junior CAD Designer:
To fulfil the role of Junior CAD Designer, you will ideally be a graduate from a Product Development, Interior Design, or Interior Architecture course. This is an entry-level position, and no work experience is required as a full induction training programme is provided to help you gain an understanding of the CAD software and products. This opportunity offers excellent prospects for progression as a Designer within the business. A University leaver or someone with minimal experience would fit this Junior CAD Designer position perfectly (also known as a Design Planner).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Producing new or amended layouts using Fusion 20:20 Software
2. Answering the telephone and dealing with internal and external customers
3. Liaising with other department members, your Team Leader, and your Manager
4. Keeping up to date with new procedures and products
You must be:
1. Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels
2. Self-motivated and willing to work as part of a dynamic team
3. Able to work under pressure to maintain deadlines
You will also have:
1. Excellent organisational, written, and numerical skills
2. Excellent timekeeping and time management skills
