We are looking for an individual with vast experience within the cleaning industry, who has previously managed teams, worked at a variety of sites and would like to take the next step towards management. Under the direction of the Area Manager, ensure a cost-effective and efficient cleaning service is provided to our customers in various buildings around the city. The role will involve communicating with customers daily and auditing the cleaning standards to ensure a high-quality service is delivered. You will tackle any shortfalls and provide key feedback to the cleaning and management teams. You will be responsible for the supervision, training, and development of staff to ensure they reach their full potential.
You will also be at the forefront of changing the shape of how we deliver our services, looking into new ways of working, trialling new products and equipment, and continuously looking for ways to improve our delivery service. We expect you to have a working knowledge of the COSHH regulations and follow the council's Health & Safety policy and procedures.
As you are required to drive around the city as part of your job role, you will need use of a vehicle with business use on your vehicle insurance. You will also be required to undertake a driving assessment to use our electric van weekly. The successful candidate will need to be confident and competent and work to a quality standard.
