Vision for Education is currently recruiting for a passionate Nursery Assistant to join a primary school in Kendal on a full-time, fixed-term contract from January 2025 to the end of the academic year. About the Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children aged 3-5 years with their early learning and development. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting children’s play and learning activities, both indoors and outdoors.
Assisting with personal care routines such as toileting, dressing, and meal times.
Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and supporting children’s development milestones.
Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Nursery Assistant, you will need:

A warm, caring, and patient personality with a genuine passion for working with children.
A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and practices.
Flexibility and the ability to work well as part of a team.
