South Lincolnshire Academies Trust is seeking to appoint inspirational, highly motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Health & Social Care at Cowley Academy in Donington. The successful candidate will teach across the age range, including examination groups.

The successful candidate will have:
* Qualified teacher status;
* The ability to teach Health & Social Care at KS4;
* Have a clear understanding of the care values within HSC services and how factors can affect the physical, intellectual and social development of an individual throughout the life stages;
* Be able to consider and discuss attitudes that are considered the most important in health and social care, including the care values and allow opportunity to students to practice applying them;
* Have the knowledge to explain the effective use of skills, processes and attitudes in the sector such as human growth and development, health and social care services, and factors affecting individuals’ emotional wellbeing;
* The ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results;
* Excellent organisational and ICT skills;
* An awareness of effective assessment and use of data to track student progress;
* The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team;
* A passion for the subject and the ability to share this with young people.
