Job Title:Temporary Credit Controller

About the Role:We are seeking a diligent and experienced Temporary Credit Controller to join a team based in Crewe. This role is to cover sickness and will require you to work from Monday to Thursday. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit control and be able to manage accounts receivable efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and letters.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
Prepare and distribute regular reports on outstanding debts.
Liaise with internal departments to resolve any billing issues.
Assist with month-end closing processes related to accounts receivable.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of credit control procedures and practices.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in IT systems and accounting software.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
