1-800 Water Damage Southeast Michigan is a restoration company working in the insurance repair industry. Our sister company, Pleasant Valley Building & Restoration, is a general contractor and concentrates on the rebuilding phase of the project. Our customers experience property losses in the form of water damage, fire & smoke damage, and mold damage. We help homeowners and business owners clean up from these challenges by removing non-restorable materials, disinfecting and/or cleaning, and drying out structures where necessary. With the help of Pleasant Valley Building, we help return their property to its original condition. We restore what matters most. Sometimes that means we help them personally by showing compassion and just plain caring.

Description:
Most of our work comes because of customers experiencing a “loss” at their home from fire & smoke damage, water damage, or mold damage. These are not planned events. Customers can be overwhelmed and of course want to get back to the way their home was prior as soon as possible. We need people who are empathetic to these situations and enjoy helping people.
The primary responsibility of this role will be to enter the customer data into our CRM system and make first contact with them, understanding their situation and then work with our field team to get one or more people on site as soon as possible. The dispatcher will be responsible for knowing where all field personnel are always and what the current rotation of employees is.
When the phone is not ringing, this person will assist in other administrative duties in the office as a backup for our other office personnel.
The right candidate will be smart, cheerful, positive, organized and work well when occasionally under pressure.
Compensation:
$18-$20 per hour
