Are you a registered veterinary nurse looking for a role or a change to a friendly, spacious and modern practice to become part of a close-knit and talented team? Our thriving and friendly small animal surgery in New Milton is seeking a lovely RVN Nurse to join us.
We are family-focused, and proud to prioritise a work-life balance with no necessary requirement of long days or late/overnight shifts, with only minimal weekend work required. We are open to discussion of hours and flexibility, but essentially happy to have a ‘9am-5pm style role’ Monday-Friday or part time for the right candidate to offer primarily anaesthesia support, recovery/inpatients and some consultations.
New Milton Vets for Pets is a well-established practice standards’ accredited clinic, partner owned for 8 years; flourishing with a wide variety of interesting medical and surgical cases, a fantastic well-established bubbly team and great clients.
You’ll be working alongside practice owners; vets Kevin and Annemiek, plus one other vet, as well as an outstanding close-knit team of 2 RVN’s 1 SVN and 2 VCAs. Our clinical team is also supported by a welcoming team of 5 fun Receptionists, and a caring Practice Manager with a certificate in Mental Health First Aid.
By joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential, taking and processing blood samples, catheters, x-rays and monitoring anaesthetics, nurse clinics, in-patient care and if interested, clinical coaching too.
The practice itself offers a lovely bright and airy environment to work in with all the equipment you’d expect from a solid GP practice. In addition to 4 consult rooms/x-ray, we have a theatre, large reception and prep areas, separate kennels & cattery, and a kitchen/colleague space.

Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
