Swansea and Carmarthen campuses (hybrid working with travel to other locations as necessary) ABOUT US The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) traces its heritage back to the first university in Wales, receiving its Royal Charter in 1828 and is honoured to have His Majesty King Charles III as Royal Patron. We are now looking for a Library Assistant to work in both our Swansea and Carmarthen campuses on a part time, fixed term contract for one year, working 18.5 hours per week. The role is based in Carmarthen for a day and half (Monday, Tuesday am) and in Swansea for one day (Friday). ABOUT YOU To be considered for this role, you will need: Educated to a very good standard of general education, e.g., at least GCSE English and Maths or equivalent. Evidence of a positive, flexible approach to, and experience in delivering consistently excellent customer service in a busy environment. Evidence of using questioning skills to identify good solutions. Experience of dealing with enquiries using different channels, e.g., phone, email, live chat. Evidence of taking initiative and responsibility for tasks in order to meet targets and deadlines.
