Job Description
Assistant Management Accountant:
* Support the Management Accountant in preparing reconciliations and management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Process bank transactions, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
* Identify and resolve queries related to reconciliations and management accounts, escalating issues when necessary.
* Collaborate with departmental heads and other teams to ensure smooth financial operations and effective communication.
* Ensure all financial processes adhere to accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
* Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance reporting accuracy, and introduce automation.
* Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
The Successful Applicant
Assistant Management Accountant:
* Accountancy Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles, with hands-on experience in balance sheet reconciliations, management accounts, and financial analysis.
