We are assisting a well-established, multi-service firm in the Midlands seeking Conveyancing support for their newly opened Market Harborough office. In this role, you will work alongside a fee earner, assisting with managing sale files from start to finish while providing support to the wider team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in residential conveyancing, as support with progression and career development will be offered.
Responsibilities include:
o Taking client instructions and verifying ID, source of funds, and gift deposits
o Preparing and issuing sales contracts
o Requesting mortgage redemption figures
o Transcribing dictation
o Responding to sales enquiries for both freehold and leasehold properties
o Drafting sales completion statements
o Ordering and reviewing property searches
o Preparing transfer deeds
o Keeping clients and agents updated on case progress
o Managing the exchange of contracts for sales and purchases
o Requesting mortgage advances and conducting pre-completion searches
o Coordinating and setting up property completions
o Handling post-completion tasks
What we need from you:
o Some experience in a Conveyancing team is essential
o Strong verbal and written communication skills
o Ability to work well under pressure with a calm and resilient approach
o Excellent keyboard and word processing skills
o High attention to detail and accuracy
o Positive, friendly, and professional demeanor
o Strong organisational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
o Team player with a proactive attitude
