The Project Manager Controls is responsible for successfully delivering the controls product within a sales order. Undertaking the realisation of the agreed customer requirements and ensuring it is delivered on time and to budget.
You will maximise the order result of the project through the professional and economic implementation of the customer requirements.
What will you be handling?
Oversee performance, deadlines, technology, and costs for controls elements of assigned projects, from handover (Stage Gate 10) to the warranty period's end
Ensure a clear understanding of project contracts, including scope, specifications, constraints, and penalties
Plan resource requirements in line with the project schedule
Develop and manage a project-specific risk register
Coordinate with customers, departments, and suppliers throughout implementation
Manage System and Hardware Engineers for assigned projects, including appointments, budgets, specifications, and compliance with regulations
Supervise Software Engineers on deadlines, budgets, and specifications, ensuring adherence to agreed functions and layouts
What you will need:
A relevant qualification ideally in Electrical Engineering
Experience in electrical design and or the delivery of controls systems
Project Management experience gained within an Engineering environment with responsibility for cost, planning, and purchasing
Previous experience of site installation and management
Ability to lead and motivate teams of people, both internal teams and sub-contractors
Highly customer-focused with excellent communication skills
