Elvet Recruitment are currently recruiting a Contracts Manager/General Manager for a business based in the heart of Teesside.
This position presents an opportunity for someone with a strong technical knowledge in Civils & Groundworks schemes to run jobs for a business looking to utilise their existing plant and grow a new arm of the company.
Within the role you will be expected to carry out the following:
1. Managing and overseeing the daily site operations.
2. Monitoring site timelines and managing the budgets/resources.
3. Complete daily site diaries.
4. Develop procurement schedules.
5. Manage the supply chain and ensure the quality of goods to site is up to standard.
6. Writing RAMS and checking documentation.
7. Adhering to technical standards set by the client.
This is a role which suits a person who is proactive in their approach to work, being able to be fully independent in company spending, workflow, and decision making on the job.
As the position is part of a new arm of the business, they are looking for someone who can actively lead and drive the teams to success.
Remuneration:
On offer is a salary up to GBP60,000 + Car + Package. However, exceptions can be made in terms of salary if the candidate exceeds expectations.
