Domiciliary Care Assistant
CONTRACTED HOURS
Shift Availability (includes alternate weekends):
* 16:00-22:30
Driving license and access to own vehicle is essential for this role depending on location.

Domiciliary care is a very rewarding career as you will work with clients on a 1-to-1 or 2-to-1 basis, allowing you to build longstanding professional relationships with each client.
The main duties of a Domiciliary Health Care Assistant will include:
* Providing personal care, including but not limited to - washing, dressing, nutrition and hydration.
* Providing social, emotional and physical support to clients.
* Domestic duties such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bed linens.
* Meal preparation.
* Support with activities.
* Support with medication needs.
* Companionship.
The ideal Domiciliary Care Assistant will:
* Have an NQV Level 2 or above in health and social care or be willing to work towards one.
* Have previous relevant training to the job role or be willing to attend training.
* Have previous domiciliary healthcare experience (not essential).
* Have a DBS check dated within 3 months or be prepared to register for one.
* Be flexible, reliable and committed.
