BSL 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (TA2)
Grade/salary: TA Scale 2 (pts 5-6), starting at £17,655
Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only + 5 days
Monday - Friday 8:45am - 3:15pm (30-minute unpaid break)
Contract: permanent
Woodfield Academy is a popular 5-form entry middle school with over 500 pupils on roll, aged 9-13 years. We are a happy, vibrant learning community, with high aspirations for the children in our care and the staff team that supports them.
We are looking for a passionate practitioner to work within the SEND Team with a specific role to work with and support a student who has a hearing impairment. You will be required to support the pupil in mainstream lessons, in individual sessions when required and in other school activities such as trips and events, as appropriate. Applicant must have knowledge and experience in British Sign Language (BSL).
