Maintenance Assistant
Hours: 37.5hrs per week, Mon - Fri 9am - 5.30pm
Avon Way House is a 406-bedroom purpose-built managed student/temporary accommodation setting, comprising of fourteen buildings. Avon Way House is set within three acres of private gardens situated adjacent to the Salary Brook Local Nature Reserve in Colchester.
Our Maintenance Operative role involves responding to the needs of the services in respect of ongoing property maintenance and vacant property turnarounds including but not limited to, general handyman duties, furniture and white goods deliveries, assembly and distribution, preventative maintenance checks and health and safety checks with due regard for the safety of the resident student population, staff and public.
