Our communication team is made up of trusted creators and advisors working in partnership with the business, the creative designer role builds part of this team and is key to supporting delivery.
You will create materials that support our internal and external campaigns, that align with our brand guidelines and campaign guidelines.
The role will take the individual on an adventure of opportunities and will provide the chance to support and where appropriate, lead on projects. The role will be based within our energy and water business unit, but the individual will have the opportunity to work across all business areas supporting the creation of digital and print based graphics.
We believe in connecting people, places and communities through innovative and responsible infrastructure. You will be part of telling the story about keeping the UK connected and will experience some of the largest and technically advanced infrastructure projects being delivered across the UK.
Previous experience in the construction and infrastructure sector is not required.
Your responsibilities will include:
Create artwork from set briefs to include banners to support award ceremonies/new product launches/offers/current campaigns, display adverts, email assets etc.
Working with the social media and digital creator, they will develop social media content -images, videos (reels) and graphics.
Manage photography and videography – collection of new and manage the assets
Photo editing and manipulation skills.
Provide pre, during and post event delivery support – creation of artwork, material and videography and photography.
They will lead on projects with support provided by the communications business partner and/or head of communications.
Alongside the communications business partner, they will need to manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external creative agencies and external suppliers.
Desirable skills and attributes
Excellent IT skills especially with design and photo editing software; Adobe Creative Cloud (in particular, but not limited to: Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, & Premiere Pro Excellent creativity and innovation Excellent time management Exceptional attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills Self-motivated Experience with product photography Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage projects/workflow Ideally over two years’ experience in an in-house / creative agency.
