About the Role: The Lanes Group Rail division requires labourers to work on various projects within the Rail sector to boost the team and manage our increased workload in and around the Rainham area. Location: Rainham Hours: Predominantly, the role is for nights (Sunday – Thursday, 10pm – 6am), however, you will be required to work day shifts when projects demand. The role involves reactive and pre-planned maintenance works. Salary: £15.00ph dependent on experience The job: Candidates are expected to report to their Manager and are responsible for ensuring that: Work is carried out to the required engineering and safety standard Work is carried out in accordance with the work instructions and procedures Ensuring that health, safety, quality and environmental requirements are adhered to Issues are identified and reported back to their Site Person in Charge and Line manager They take responsibility for the quality of work they undertake. About you: You’re a hard worker, keen to be part of a strong team, great customer service, so you’ll be able to communicate respectfully with clients and the public when necessary. The ideal candidate must have 2 years’ labouring experience (rail experience preferred), hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
