Responsibilities include access and egress control, site patrols, and maintaining a customer-focused approach while ensuring detailed report writing. (NB: the prospective Security Officer must have acquired the full SIA licence before being able to start work on operational shifts). Display an outstanding level of customer service. Take responsibility for problems that staff and visitors may have. Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover procedures.
