Company Overview
You will be joining a very well-known, prestigious and highly regarded Business Management Consultancy as their Revenue Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis. Part of a high-performing and supportive team you will report directly into the Financial Controller who will be there to support your transition into the business from day one. This role will involve managing a team of 3 in Revenue Accounting. Based in their modern City of London office 2-3 days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining days.
Role Responsibilities
In your new role, you will be responsible for managing, leading, supervising and mentoring a team of 3 in the Revenue team, maintaining WIP records, reconciling rechargeable costs to amounts billed in advance or unbilled, ensuring all invoices meet individual client requirements, investigating all project expenses not billed to clients, reporting on project profitability, reconciling client purchase orders to invoices sent and closing our project accounts upon project completion.
Role Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role (Revenue Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Billing) and ideally be coming from a Professional Services or Financial Services background. You must have team leadership, supervisory or line management experience of at least one person. You will need to be a strong leader in the Revenue and Accounts Receivable space. Timesheet accounting is highly desirable but not essential. Experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment would be advantageous. You must be confident with the use of Accounting software such as NetSuite and be competent with Excel to an intermediate level. You will have strong communication skills and a fantastic work ethic, be able to work independently and as part of a supportive team, and possess excellent analytical skills.
In Return
You will receive an annual salary of up to £42,000 + Study Support + Benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
