Job overview
Are you an Advanced Clinical Practitioner seeking a role where your expertise is valued, your independence is respected, and your impact makes a difference?
Our integrated, forward-thinking Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) goes beyond traditional urgent care. Working with a multi-disciplinary, GP-led team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality clinical services that ease pressure on emergency care departments.
This role is an opportunity to engage in a service that challenges convention, prioritises innovation, and puts patients at the centre of everything we do. If you value professional growth, and want to make a meaningful difference in urgent care - this role is for you!
Main duties of the job
Working within the wider HUC unscheduled care division and with local healthcare providers, the Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner will complete the assessment and treatment of patients at a GP-led Urgent Treatment Centre, who may present with acute and/or chronic illnesses and/or injury; in order to determine a clinical diagnosis, treatment and appropriate discharge.
Using your streaming/triage experience gained within an urgent treatment centre/emergency department or minor injury unit, you will receive patients as they present with complex and/or chronic illnesses and/or injury, that have been triaged and referred by the patients own GP or 111. You will autonomously undertake clinical assessments, to determine a clinical diagnosis, treatment, and appropriate discharge.
