Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Responsible to Warehouse & Distribution Manager for the effective picking and dispatching of finished product, ensuring correct date rotation is adhered to.
Support the Warehouse & Distribution Manager in all aspects of Warehousing.
Ensure loading and unloading procedures are correctly implemented.
Produce correct dispatch paperwork / ASN's for deliveries, ensuring correct information (i.e., batch numbers, use by dates, product details) is shown on paperwork at all times.
Monitor shortfalls and overstock situations, informing the Stock Controller or Warehouse & Distribution Manager with adequate time to react.
Responsible for people management of the warehouse, including but not limited to sickness absence monitoring, disciplinary process, and timekeeping.
Key Tasks/Results:
Safety:
Ensure that the area of control is compliant with Health and Safety and Food Safety legislation, in line with the company documented H&S, Quality, and Hygiene system.
Recognize site reporting structures and comply with these structures regarding any issues that might arise.
Customer Compliance:
Be familiar with and practice any individual customer requirements regarding picking, packing, and dispatching of products.
Security:
Monitor the security of all areas of work, including monitoring damage to equipment and stock within the warehouse at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or Higher
IT Literate
Good Level of Maths
Good Level of written and spoken English
Understanding of food manufacturing processes

Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills
A willingness to help out and support the wider team.
Enthusiastic, keen to learn with a strong work ethic.
