Regional Operations Manager (Central / North)

Main duties of the job
The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional care services across the central and northern regions. Key responsibilities include leading and inspiring regional care teams, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance, overseeing recruitment and workforce planning, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and driving performance and growth. The successful candidate will have strong leadership experience, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and a proven track record in driving recruitment, workforce planning, and service quality.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Leadership & People Management – Lead, inspire, and support regional care teams, driving engagement, retention, and professional growth.
* Operational Excellence – Ensure services are well-staffed, efficient, and compliant with CQC/CIW/RQIA regulations.
* Recruitment & Workforce Planning – Oversee regional hiring, ensure vacancies are filled efficiently, and support new care package mobilisations.
* Customer & Stakeholder Engagement – Build strong relationships with clients, families, and internal teams to ensure service excellence.
* Performance & Growth – Drive KPI success in carer retention, recruitment speed, package retention, and service expansion.
* Crisis Management & On-Call Support – Be a proactive problem-solver, ensuring smooth service delivery at all times.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Strong leadership experience in a field-based operational role
* Background in healthcare, social care, or domiciliary care (Complex Care, related regulations and CQC knowledge is a big plus!)
* A hands-on, solution-focused approach to operational challenges
* Proven ability to drive recruitment, workforce planning, and service quality
* Experience using workforce management systems (One Touch is a bonus!)
In return we are offering:
* Salary up to £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
