Impact, on and off the pitch
The FA is seeking a Learning Developer to design and develop high-quality digital learning experiences and resources that meet learner and business needs. The role involves collaborating with the Senior Learning Developer and subject matter experts (SMEs) to create engaging, interactive learning solutions across various digital platforms, including the Learning Experience Platform (LXP).
What will you be doing?
* Design and develop online modules using authoring tools such as Adapt and Articulate 360.
* Create multimedia assets using Adobe Creative Cloud, including graphics, animations, and PDFs.
* Ensure all content adheres to The FA's brand guidelines and learning design principles.
* Maintain online modules using basic CSS and HTML skills.
* Collaborate with the Digital Systems team to ensure platform compliance with brand and UI guidelines.
* Work with SMEs to develop effective learning experiences tailored to the target audience.
* Maintain high quality standards across all digital content, supporting testing and quality assurance.
* Use data and feedback to improve learning resources, ensuring engagement and effectiveness.
* Stay updated with developments in digital learning technologies and design practices.
* Perform additional tasks as required to meet organizational priorities.
* Comply with all policies to uphold health, safety, and well-being standards.
What are we looking for?
Essential qualifications and skills:
* Degree in multimedia design, digital learning, or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of digital design principles and their application.
* Experience in designing and developing e-learning content.
* Ability to collaborate with SMEs to produce targeted learning content.
* Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools like Adapt and Articulate 360.
* Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud for asset creation.
* Understanding of SCORM, LMS/LXP platforms.
* Basic CSS and HTML skills.
* Strong communication skills.
Beneficial skills:
* Knowledge of coaching development and sport organizations.
* Experience creating interactive videos and using xAPI.
* Knowledge of football at various levels.
* Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
