If you're ready to lead, inspire, and shape the future of young people's mental health, we want to hear from you Main duties of the job As a Consultant in Child & Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS), you will provide clinical leadership and specialist care within a dedicated team, offering assessments, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatments for young people with complex mental health needs. You will work closely with families, carers, and multi-disciplinary colleagues, ensuring that patient-centred, holistic care remains at the core of our service. Key duties include managing a small caseload, conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing clinical oversight and guidance to the team. You will play a pivotal role in service development, enhancing treatment pathways and championing recovery-focused care models. You will also engage in teaching, mentoring junior doctors and other staff, and participating in audit and quality improvement initiatives.
