Job Type: Temporary/Agency Work We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our agency and provide high-quality care to individuals in Maidstone. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to support the implementation of treatments and therapies outlined in service users care plans. Assist and provide support to qualified nurses in delivering effective care. Conduct safe observations of patients, which may involve 1:1 care or working alongside other staff members. Address the physical and emotional needs of service users in a caring, empathetic manner. Support physical and mental well-being through individual or group activities. Ensure the environment remains safe, clean, and enjoyable for both service users and staff. Follow Safeguarding guidelines to protect vulnerable individuals. Follow de-escalation and PMVA techniques to manage potentially challenging behaviours. Essential Criteria: Classroom-based Mandatory Training. PMVA Training. Oliver McGowan Training. Ligature Training. Dysphagia Awareness Training. A minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role. Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service or willingness to undergo a new DBS check.
