Groveland Park is a 55 bed Luxury Residential care home rated Outstanding. We are looking for an energetic and forward-thinking Domestic Supervisor to lead our team of domestics, inspiring and motivating staff to achieve above and beyond in a fantastic and rewarding work setting.

Key Responsibilities:
This is a varied and interesting role to oversee all aspects of the cleaning provision in our luxury residential care home. We are looking for a good leader and team member.
* Lead a team that provides a clean, fresh environment throughout the Home and ensure the safety of staff, residents, and visitors through the safe storage and use of cleaning materials.
* Provide positive and effective leadership.
* Ensure that Domestic/Laundry staff rotas are covered.
* Monitor the quality of housekeeping.
* Ensure that all domestic/Laundry supplies are ordered and available for use.
* Ensure all domestic/Laundry team receive formal supervision bi-monthly, being a good role model and team player.
* Audit the housekeeping services on a monthly basis.
* Ensure that all daily work schedules are completed on time and to the required standards.
* Ensure that all equipment is maintained, cleaned, and stored, with any faults reported to the Home Manager.
* Understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements relevant such as Health and Safety, COSHH, and aspects of the Care Standards Act.
* Take adequate precautions to safeguard the health and safety of others.
* Respect and maintain confidentiality of residents' personal information at all times, including residents' rights to privacy, dignity, and choice.
* Be approachable and interactive with colleagues, contributing to team meetings and training.
* Ensure that the home is a friendly and supportive caring environment.
* Report any concerns regarding possible abuse of a vulnerable adult immediately to the person in charge.
* Carry out any other reasonable requests by a manager/director.
