Lancashire Constabulary's HQ Operations Division is seeking a Local Resilience Forum (LRF) Administrative Assistant to be based at Hutton Headquarters. The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free car parking on site. As a dedicated member of the Secretariat, you will assist the Lancashire Resilience Forum (LRF) in the organisation and administration of functions and procedures necessary to the overall effectiveness of the LRF. This is not a comprehensive list of all the tasks which may be required of the post holder. It is illustrative of the general nature and level of responsibility of the work to be undertaken.
* To assist the LRF Business Manager in the organisation and scheduling of the LRF Calendar, including meetings, training, exercises, debriefs and events.
* As directed by the LRF Business Manager, to service LRF Group meetings and activity through the preparation of agendas and papers, liaison with Group Chairs and Vice Chairs, maintenance of distribution lists and site visitors, minute taking and record keeping, and monitoring the LRF Secretariat inbox to respond to partners in a timely manner.
* Under the supervision of the LRF Business Manager, to undertake maintenance of multi-agency documentation to include word processing, printing and circulation and to assist in the production of new documentation as appropriate.
* To work/liaise in partnership with other LRF member agencies to bolster relations and maintain clear and up to date records of attendance and engagement.
* To demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering a high standard of service with an emphasis on quality at all times.
