Job description
Within Technology Risk Consulting Corporates, our ERP & Business Systems capability perform a large amount of our work providing assurance, advice and attestation to clients on their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Management systems, specifically Oracle and SAP and implementing GRC or data analytical solutions on top of the ERP. Our projects include delivery of ERP audits, process control, process & control optimisation, security, data analytics and ERP related GRC. This work is delivered through stand-alone assignments, or as part of internal audit engagements.
The Role
A Manager with a Oracle Controls focus within the team would typically be responsible for driving delivery of all of our Oracle service lines as part of the wider ERP & Business systems team, as well as developing new business from existing clients and new prospects, building deep and enduring relationships with blue chip organisations and establishing themselves as a subject matter expert in this type of assurance and consulting support.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities attributable to this role will include some or all of the following:
1. Leading multiple Oracle assurance and/or advisory engagements
2. Responsibility for the overall output from client engagements.
3. Overseeing the scoping, financial management, managing delivery risk, production and review of deliverables.
4. Building and managing excellent networks and client relationships (typically at CIO, CFO and Head of Internal Audit level) across a range of organisations.
5. Developing internal networks and maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues across KPMG, promoting the ERP & Business Systems capability specifically for Oracle and informing other KPMG services and capability groups of the value it could add to their engagements.
6. Be responsible for expanding Oracle services in a specific IMG segments, B2C and B2B. whilst also being able to work across a range of other sectors.
7. Coaching and developing team members, both as Oracle specialists, but also training wider Technology Risk Consulting team members to become skilled in certain areas ( selling ERP analytics, integration into audit delivery etc.).
8. Leading product development and innovation in the use of Oracle GRC, data and analytics technologies, to ensure that KPMG's offering remains market leading on a global scale.
9. In addition to the core Manager competencies, also identifying and progressing business development opportunities related to Oracle, as well as managing sales activities such as responding to RFPs, bid management, proposal writing and client presentations.
Experience and Background
10. Experience in Oracle business analysis and understanding of core financial business processes (procure to pay, record to report, order to cash etc within an Oracle environment)
11. Experience of core ERP and / or business systems - including SAP, Oracle and others
12. Functional experience of Oracle GRC, Financials.
13. Functional experience of Oracle Release 12 essential and advantage of Oracle Fusion experience
14. Experience of using Oracle data analysis tools.
15. A good understanding of technology platforms supporting the industry
16. Ability to present on specific industry subjects to a large group of people
17. An understanding of system risks and controls, to relate them to the wider business environment and to express opinions clearly to all levels
18. Ability to develop excellent client and internal relationships
19. Ability to deliver work within tight timescales, to budget and to a high quality

Qualifications and Skills
29. Proven experience of successfully delivering technology based consulting services, particularly related to Oracle implementations.
30. Masters degree or MBA.
31. Ideal - Big 4 professional services or dynamic IT consultancy environment experience.
32. Significant experience in industry or professional services.
33. Oracle Certifications (Desirable)
This role requires specific Oracle controls experience. Delivering Oracle process controls and Oracle assurance services. The successful candidate will be involved in client facing and client relationship building across of range of corporate clients.
