Human Factors/Safety Engineer
Location: Remote working, Barrow base site with site visits as needed
Duration: 6 months initial contract
Pay Rate: £87.27 per hour (Umbrella) or £75.76 per hour PAYE including holiday
The role of Principal Human Factors/Safety Engineer involves undertaking Human Factors work to support site-based HF safety activities.
The position requires the transfer of knowledge and expertise to ensure the safe execution of human factors-related tasks on-site.
This includes participating in risk assessments, identifying hazards, and implementing mitigating measures to minimize risks.
A thorough understanding of human factors principles and practices is essential for this role, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting site visits as needed to gather data, assess situations, and provide expert guidance.
Given the remote nature of the work, strong organizational and time management skills are crucial for success in this position.
The estimated salary for this role is around £75,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
