IT service desk analyst, 6 months, up to £180 p/d, Belfast
We are working with a global financial institution to recruit a highly motivated and skilled individual to join their team as a Help Desk Support Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting managing directors and trading & investment banking floors globally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting approximately 23,000+ users with over 27,000 desktops, plus laptops, Blackberry, and BYOD devices.
* Be able to demonstrate control over a highly challenging and dynamic environment.
* Function as part of a complete service team providing effective solutions to meet customer needs.
* Identify repetitive faults and implement permanent fixes.
* Contribute to knowledgebase documentation as required.
Desired criteria
* Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of relevant help desk work experience.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling 30+ calls per day.
* The ability to provide a high level of technical support for trading and investment banking businesses.
Although the role is initially for a 11-month period there is a high possibility of extension.
