Leeds – Hybrid, 3 days in the office 2 days at home
£32,000 - £35,000
12 months fixed term contract
At Another we are currently looking to hire a Senior HR Advisor to join a well known and accomplished business in West Yorkshire on a 12 months fixed term contract. Reporting into the HR Director you will provide a wide range of HR generalist support across the business.
This opportunity is for an experienced senior hr professional who has delivered across all aspects of HR, is solutions focused and has a strong bias for HR systems and compliance.
The Role
* Working with the HR Director to deliver on wider HR initiatives and projects
* Coach and provide advice and guidance to managers and employees across all regions on all HR policies, practices and procedures.
* Providing efficient administrative support, continually developing, managing and reviewing administrative processes and procedures
* Be the first point of contact for HR related enquiries
* Collate, monitor and provide advise on sickness absence records and own the sickness absence management process and procedures
* Reviewing HR policies and processors to ensure they are in line with the HR strategy and business strategy.
* Ensure the business manages its people appropriately so as to adopt best practice and comply with the company values and employment legislation.
* Provide a high-quality service and act as a trusted HR Advisor whilst building credible stakeholder relationships.
* Provide HR administrative support as an when required
* Support the implementation and optimisation of a HR systems and processes
* Working with the HR Director, supporting creating quality controls and compliance on key HRIS workflows, improving processes and procedures when necessary
* Supporting the wider HR team to ensure integration and training is delivered
* Optimising the ability to provide meaningful data for the businesses
Skills required
* Ideally CIPD level 5 qualified or working towards
* Proven experience of working as a HR Advisor, ideally gained in a small to medium business
* Previous experience supporting or leading the implementation of a Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and managing complex ER cases
* Experience of supporting change projects would be ideal
* Strong experience of building relationships and managing stakeholder
* Confident with IT systems, Microsoft Office, HR systems
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Proven experience of being solutions focused whilst delivering change and creating efficiencies
