The Governors of Morecambe Bay Community Primary School are looking to appoint a teacher on a part time basis for 2 days per week (although 3 days a week could be considered). We are looking for a teacher that has a passion for teaching and is committed to making a difference.
Morecambe Bay is a happy community primary school situated in the heart of Morecambe. We currently have 299 pupils on role, organised into 11 classes (some of which are mixed age). In September 2022, we opened ‘The Cove’ (a SEND unit) as an addition to our school family. Just over 64% of our pupils are entitled to PPG and the percentage of children with special educational needs is above the national average. The school is well resourced, having extensive space and facilities that enable teachers to be creative and forward thinking.
