Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 4.45pm and Friday 8.45am - 4.15pm
As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of housing services to our customers. Therefore, you should have experience working within a housing-related environment and have an understanding of current issues and legislation in relation to homelessness, allocations, estate management, rent recovery, and dealing with anti-social behaviour.
Excellent IT skills are required, as well as the ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively and respond to changing priorities in delivering a quality service. You should possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to liaise effectively with a variety of agencies.
You will be eligible to participate in South Lanarkshire Council's Car Pool Scheme, as it would be advantageous to have access to a vehicle for business purposes if required to travel to alternative locations.
