A reputable legal firm based in Bolton is currently seeking a highly motivated Conveyancing Assistant to join their Residential team.
Candidates should have a minimum of 6-12 months experience as a conveyancing legal assistant/paralegal within a law firm, and you will receive full training within this role to best support fee earners.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
1. Deal effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence, and occasionally face to face, to provide advice and assistance.
2. Be responsible for chasing various documentation, ID, mortgage offers, and searches.
3. Keep the case management system and any third-party websites up to date in real time.
4. Ensure clients and introducers of business receive the best possible service at all times.
5. Prepare required documentation as needed within the conveyancing process.
6. Prepare the completion packs for the accounts department, including completion statements and invoices.
7. Deal with post-exchange matters as directed by your team manager.
