Heriot-Watt University has five campuses: three in the UK (Edinburgh, Scottish Borders, and Orkney), one in Dubai, and one in Malaysia. The University offers a diverse range of diploma programs in technology, engineering, business, and languages.
With a history dating back to 1821, Heriot-Watt University has established a reputation for international-class teaching and practical, leading-edge research, making it one of the top UK universities for business and industry. We connect to the industry at every level and develop programs to meet their needs – ensuring employers receive work-ready, industry-fit graduates.
Heriot-Watt is Scotland’s most international University, boasting the largest global student cohort.
We have an established set of values that nurture innovation and leadership, demonstrating our commitment to continuous improvement in all our activities.
The Global Curriculum Management (GCM) aims to guide the overall lifecycle of our diploma programs from inception to completion. GCM will enable lecturers to propose new programs and collaborate with colleagues to develop their proposals, which will then be submitted for approval. GCM will support the approval lifecycle: academic support, business case, marketing, and costs, with separate threads for each country. Finally, GCM will assist in integrating approved programs into our operational student information system.
We seek a skilled project manager to lead the GCM project through procurement, recruitment, development, and closure.
The successful candidate will lead the implementation of the new Global Curriculum Management system, coordinating people and responsibilities to ensure successful delivery. The project manager will act as a key advisor for change and will be involved in presenting to stakeholders, training, and supporting staff. We seek a candidate with strong experience in project management, robust business process analysis, and ideally, knowledge of higher education workflows, data migration, and system integrations.
