What We Offer:
* Competitive salary based on experience: £23,500 to £27,000 P.A.

Your Role: As a Workshop Technician, you'll play a vital role in our manufacturing process, ensuring precision and quality at every stage. From sanding and finishing components to assembly, joinery, and laminate pressing, your attention to detail and craftsmanship will contribute to our outstanding products.
Main Responsibilities:
* Sanding, hand and spray finishing components to achieve high quality parts and finished products.
* Simple assembly of parts using hand tools.
* Performing laminate and veneer pressing.
* Using a panel saw to prepare and process materials accurately.
* Packaging goods for dispatch, ensuring their safety during transportation.
* Maintaining a clean and orderly workshop.
Skills We’re Looking For: We understand that not every candidate will have experience in all the areas outlined below. Don't worry! We will provide comprehensive training to the right candidate to ensure your success in the role.
Technical Skills:
* Experience of sanding, hand and spray finishing wooden parts.
* Familiarity with laminating/veneering (advantageous but not essential).
* Furniture assembly skills using hand tools.
* Competence in using woodworking machines safely.
Attention to Detail:
* A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes and accurate assembly.
* Ability to spot and fix production issues.
* Problem-solving mindset to address any technical challenges.
Organisational Skills:
* Capable of managing your workload and meeting production deadlines.
* Ability to follow schedules and adapt to changing priorities.
Safety Consciousness:
* Knowledge of safety guidelines when operating machinery and working with materials.
* Proactive in keeping the workshop clean, ensuring a safe and pleasant working environment for all team members.
Teamwork and Communication:
* Collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills.
* Willingness to support and share knowledge with team members.
Physical Stamina:
* Comfortable with tasks requiring standing, lifting, and repetitive motion.
* Stamina for working in a dynamic, fast-moving production environment.
