This opportunity as a Programme Planning Manager (Sustainability) at a prominent London airport is ideal for professionals passionate about combining strategic leadership with impactful sustainability initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in delivering infrastructure projects with a focus on advancing green technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and Execution:
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment across all project phases from concept to completion.
* Oversee control programmes, contract evaluations, compensation events, delay analysis, and drive schedule optimisation with supply chain collaboration.
Team Leadership:
* Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary planning team, fostering talent development and upholding performance excellence.
* Contribute to creating and refining planning standards and coaching team members to reach their potential.
Programme Assurance:
* Assist in trend analysis, risk management, and change processes to boost efficiency and programme outcomes.
* Ensure rigorous adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, striving for excellence in these areas.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Communicate complex ideas effectively to diverse stakeholders, bridging technical aspects with strategic objectives.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Proven track record as a Senior Planner in large-scale (£50M+) infrastructure projects within construction or related sectors.
* Extensive experience with Primavera P6 and a strong understanding of commercial and contractual elements.
* Leadership experience, including team management and coaching capabilities.
* Expertise in working on projects within live environments .
* Excellent problem-solving and innovative thinking skills, with a flexible and adaptable approach to challenges.
* Strong ability to build consensus, influence stakeholders, and deliver results aligned with strategic goals.
