Accounts Assistant / Financial Analyst Job Description:
Purpose of Position: Completion of timely and accurate financial transactions for a defined portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* VAT
* Payroll preparation
* Purchase ledger
* Preparing and sending out unpaid bills report
* Preparing weekly payment runs
* Sales ledger/Credit Control
* Bank/Weekly Bank Reconciliations
* Month end reconciliation and adjustments
Management Accountant Job Description:
Purpose of Position: To produce management information for a portfolio of clients within the Client Services Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate periodic management reports including profit and loss, balance sheet, performance analysis, cashflow forecast and budget analysis as a minimum
* Gather necessary information from clients and internally to ensure that month end is closed accurately and to the client’s expectations
* Review financial data and complete balance sheet reconciliations to check the validity and accuracy of the data; provide feedback to the team where necessary
* Use Business Intelligence Tools to develop user-friendly, accurate reporting solutions to meet client needs
* Provide support for the development of budgets and forecasts to ensure good quality and up-to-date information is available to clients
* Provide financial expertise to other team members to support accurate production of financial data
* Communicate with clients regarding their business performance, providing them with financial insights and explanations from management accounting packs, cashflow forecasts, and other business reports
* Provide ad hoc reports, data, and information to clients to enable them to make sound business decisions
* Support the year-end process by reviewing data and providing relevant information to the compliance team and external auditors
