Play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative defence systems for submarines and surface ships as a Principal Mechanical Engineer.

You will work across the entire engineering lifecycle following the appropriate defence standards.
Your Responsibilities:
• Sign off on all mechanical designs, ensure the mechanical team conforms to applicable processes, and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.
• Produce, review and approve technical documentation to support programme delivery.
• Be a direct point of contact whilst liaising with manufacturers and test houses.
Your Experience:
• Strong experience in mechanical design including FEA and Thermal Analysis (CFD).
• Experience with CREO is essential.
• Defence experience and working knowledge of the industry standards.
• Previous experience in leading teams.
