1. Temporary Experienced Roofer
Location: Dumfries, Scotland
Key Responsibilities:
Install solar panels on residential and commercial roofs, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Work in collaboration with the team to ensure efficient and safe installations.
Ensure installations follow project specifications and safety standards.
Manage and position solar panels correctly on various roof types.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment on-site.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a roofer, specifically with solar panel installations.
Strong understanding of solar panel systems, mounting, and installation processes.
Experience working with different types of roofs and materials.
Ability to work at heights safely and handle roofing equipment.
CSCS card (or equivalent).
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
2. Temporary Roofer's Labourer
Location: Dumfries, Scotland
Contract: Temporary (Duration: [Insert Duration])
Salary: Competitive, DOE + Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation of solar panels on various roof types.
Prepare materials and tools needed for solar panel installations.
Support the team by positioning and securing solar panels during installs.
Help ensure the site is clean, organised, and safe for all team members.
Assist in lifting, carrying, and positioning panels as required.
Key Requirements:
Experience in roofing or construction (solar panel installation experience is a plus).
Strong physical ability to assist with lifting and working at heights.
Awareness of health & safety procedures in construction and roofing.
Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
CSCS card (or equivalent) preferred, but not essential.
