Who Does This Role Report Into? Site Director
Role Summary / Purpose and Scope
Supporting the day to day running of Kent Science Park in line with client strategy.
High levels of Client Engagement and Customer services are required, with good management of contractors, security staff, maintenance and cleaners as well as 3rd party contractors whilst having due regard to expenditure and current legislation.
Line management of MAPP site based team members.
Skills, Knowledge and Values

1. Ensure building procedures are in place that support management of the building.
2. Supporting budget setting, management and reconciliation.
3. Develop effective, proactive relationships with all occupiers.
4. Ability to manage contractors to ensure PPM works and reactive maintenance is carried out in line with company policies and procedures.
5. Monitor, coach and mentor all members of the hard and soft service partner site teams to deliver a one team ethos.
6. Attention to detail and high levels of occupier engagement and customer service will be required.
7. Seek opportunities for continuous improvement in service efficiency/effectiveness.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and tenants.
9. IOSH / Member of IWFM.
10. Building Management/Contractor management.
11. Time management & Excellent organisational skills.
12. Proven experience in production and presentation of Client / management reports.
13. Excellent organisational skills & strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at various levels.
14. Effective line management skills.
15. Effective PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
16. Proactive, flexible attitude to changes in the company, IT systems and the role.

Experience and Salary
Level of Experience / Certifications:
1. Health, Safety and Environmental Management - ensuring all legal requirements and the requirements of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are met, advising Client and occupiers as appropriate.
2. Budget setting, management and reconciliation.
3. Occupier and retail management.
4. Ability to manage contractors to ensure PPM works and reactive maintenance is carried out in line with company policies and procedures.
5. Working closely with fellow building managers within the network to drive for improved standards and efficiencies.
6. Riskwise (H&S compliance systems) CAFM systems.
Qualifications
1. IOSH Essential.
2. NEBOSH Desirable.
3. IWFM Member.
4. Driving License.
Working Hours: 9am - 5.30pm Monday - Thursday & 9am - 5pm Friday
Salary Range (Based on Experience): GBP 55,000 - GBP 65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
