Salary: £90 - £100 per day
Start Date: January 2025
Contract Type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, term time only
Unique School Solutions is supporting a primary school in the S63 area of Rotherham, seeking a Special Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 3 student with complex needs. The role involves supporting the student in the classroom and working independently in specialist areas with sensory circuits. Resilience and knowledge of de-escalation techniques are essential due to the child's needs. This position is to start ASAP and may lead to permanent employment after 12 weeks.

Essential Requirements for the Role:
1. Previous experience working with children or adults with Special Educational Needs for at least 3 months in the last 2 years.
2. TeamTeach qualification would be beneficial.
3. Empathetic, nurturing, and calm personality.
4. The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher and use own initiative.
