We’re looking for someone with knowledge of regulatory requirements within the financial sector and experience of supervising, coaching and providing feedback, to lead a team of collections agents. Purpose of the role The purpose of the role is to lead, coach, motivate and develop a team of people to ensure they meet individual and departmental objectives. As a leader of people, Team Leaders should actively demonstrate company values and lead their team to do the same. They must encourage and drive a culture where full focus is placed on delivering fair customer outcomes, whilst adhering to regulatory and legislative requirements. What you’ll be doing To effectively coach and develop a team with the focus on putting the customer first whilst at the same time protecting the banks interests, making sound judgments based upon factual information gained or known Motivate individuals and the team to generate a positive, working environment and produce work of a high standard Communicate with internal and external contacts, building rapport and relationships as appropriate to raise the profile of the team Consistently apply the CoreHR procedures including absence management procedures to minimise/control absence levels within the team Embrace and embed changes to policy and procedures to ensure their team can deliver the most appropriate outcome for the customer. Working hours The successful person will be required to work 37.5 hours per week over a 6 day period. The start and finish times will be: Monday – Friday between 0830 – 1900 (one hour for lunch) and Saturday between 0900 – 1300 (0 break). There may be a requirement to work some Bank Holidays, based on business requirements however, time would be given back in lieu.
