An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Infrastructure & Operations Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company based in Malton. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure and services, supporting business functions across the site. This is a full-time role with alternating shift patterns of either 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. There is also an on-call rotation (with additional pay) and the option for hybrid working after six months. The salary for this role is between £38,000 – £45,000, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: Maintain a shift rota and provide coverage both in and out of standard working hours. Develop and support IT & Operational Technology infrastructure across multiple sites. Monitor and meet service-level and operational-level metrics to ensure high system performance. Continuously improve incident, problem, change, and capacity management processes. Build strong relationships across the IT function and share knowledge at all levels. Identify trends and collaborate on action plans for proactive service improvement. Stay informed on IT operations, ongoing projects, business challenges, and industry developments. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security regulations. Effectively manage third-party service providers in line with agreed SLAs. Skills & Experience Required: Strong focus on IT Infrastructure & Operations.
