Commercial Property Solicitor - Head of Team

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior/Experienced Solicitor to join our prestigious law firm in Surrey as the Head of our Commercial Property Team. Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: As the Head of the Commercial Property Team, you will lead and manage a team of skilled solicitors and support staff. You will provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success and foster a collaborative work environment.
Commercial Property Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge and experience in commercial property law to handle complex transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, development projects, and property finance. You will oversee and provide expert advice on all aspects of commercial property matters.
Client Management: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and providing strategic advice. You will manage client expectations, negotiate contracts, draft legal documents, and ensure exceptional service delivery throughout the entire property transaction process.
Business Development: Play a pivotal role in growing our Commercial Property Team. This includes identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and contributing to marketing strategies to expand our client base.
Legal Compliance: Stay updated with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry developments in commercial property law. Ensure the team operates in full compliance with legal and ethical standards, maintaining the firm's reputation for excellence.
Qualifications:
* Qualified solicitor with significant post-qualification experience in commercial property law.
* Proven track record of handling complex commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development projects.
* Strong leadership skills with previous experience managing a team of solicitors and support staff.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
* Business acumen with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.
* Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service.
* A thorough understanding of relevant legislation and legal procedures.
* Membership in the Law Society of England and Wales or equivalent professional bodies.
