Vanrath has partnered with a leading FMCG company to hire an Ecommerce Manager, to lead a team and drive forward the success of their ecommerce performance.
This is an Office based role.

The Role:
The objective of this role is to develop and implement a commercial focused plan to grow the direct-to-consumer sales through owned online channels. Drive brand awareness and maintain brand consistency in line with relevant brand guidelines ensuring our websites meet the needs of our customer journeys.
Responsibilities:
* Working with Magento 2 (or other platform), full responsibility for the D2C website including P&L management.
* Develop and implement ecommerce strategy to improve website performance.
* Monitoring key site metrics including GP, Conversion Rate, website speed, Bounce Rate, AOV, Exit Rates and overall website traffic.
* Identify and execute UX improvement currently including loyalty reward programme and subscription service.
* Work closely with digital marketing personnel to analyse digital marketing channels across PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates and email marketing and social media.
* Work with marketing team to ensure the site is up to date with current campaigns & content calendar.
* Work with sales team to ensure online promotions plan is in synergy with the overall promotion activity with retailers.
* Setting up the right reports to communicate relevant performance insights, analysis, and information to the wider team.
* Ensuring channels are kept up to date with correct product, offers, and gift offers as well as updated product shots, banners, new in products/brands, regularly updated category pages.
* Competitor product and pricing analysis - to ensure we are price competitive and market leaders in the industry.
* Work in synergy with the wider team to identify new growth opportunities and ways in which to improve our brand reputation and presence & drive new customer acquisition at the lowest cost possible.
* Omnichannel Logistics, fulfilment and service management and improvement.
* Work hand in hand with the sales and marketing teams to decide on product and range decisions.
* Ensure that D2C ecommerce trading requirements are championed and communicated within the wider business.
* Ensure all e-commerce practices are in alignment with GDPR and PCI compliance.
The Ideal Person:
* 3+ years in a direct to consumer Ecommerce role or similar
* Digital Marketing / Web Development or related degree
* Knowledge of online selling platforms and how selling works, having focus on maximising sales across all other online platforms.
Desirable Criteria:
* FMCG experience
* Knowledge of Ecommerce Fulfilment
* Training and presenting skills
