Our client has been recognised as a 'Great Place to Work' for two consecutive years. They are expanding their operations in London and seeking enthusiastic Customer Service Representatives to join them at their newly revamped offices in South-West London.
As a Contact Centre Agent you will be the first point of contact for visa applicants, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the process. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Handle applicant calls, providing information and guidance on visa application procedures, required documents based on visa type, application status updates, and appointment scheduling.
2. Contact applicants who miss appointments to understand the reason for their absence.
3. Notify applicants of any changes to previously scheduled appointments, following consular instructions.
4. Participate in security-related training sessions.
5. Follow all security protocols relevant to this position.
6. Report any security incidents to a supervisor immediately upon detection.
7. Respect applicants' religious beliefs, political views, and maintain confidentiality of personal information.
8. Fully comply with anti-corruption policies and maintain confidentiality regarding company-related information.
9. Report any client feedback or questions related to service quality or company image to a supervisor.
10. Perform any additional tasks assigned by a supervisor to support team operations.
11. Be consistently available and courteous with clients.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Administrative proficiency with computer systems.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Excellent spoken and written English; fluency in any other language is an advantage.
4. Prior customer service experience, preferably in a client-facing role.
5. Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with diverse clientele.
6. Attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
7. Self-motivation and reliability, with excellent time management skills.
8. Experience of working face-to-face in a customer service role or retail environment.
9. Working in a fast-paced multi-cultural collaborative team environment, and at times in a high-pressure environment during high seasons.
10. Experience in a Public Sector / Government client working environment is a plus.
You will be expected to work Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, fully office based for a period of 3 months. Your hourly pay rate will be £13.50 per hour plus holiday pay accrual.
A valid DBS Certificate will be required.
