Job Vacancy: Teaching Assistant (SEN Department) - Secondary School, Swinton Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our SEN department, working with KS3 and KS4 students at a vibrant secondary school in Swinton. Role Overview: Position: Teaching Assistant (SEN) Location: Secondary School, Swinton Key Stages: KS3 & KS4 Department: SEN (Special Educational Needs) Start Date: Immediate Working Hours: 8am - 4pm (Monday to Friday) Pay: Up to £100 per day Requirements: Previous experience working within the UK school system is essential. Ideally, experience working in a secondary school environment. Ability to support students with varying learning needs and provide a nurturing learning atmosphere. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. A patient, compassionate approach with a focus on student development. Key Responsibilities: Supporting SEN students in both group settings and on a one-to-one basis. Assisting teachers in delivering tailored learning plans. Helping students achieve their individual learning goals. Collaborating with the SENCO and teaching staff to ensure high-quality support.
