Main duties of the job You would be ; Using special handling techniques to move expensive, specialist medical equipment from one part of the hospital to another. Transporting medical supplies, such as oxygen cylinders, and collecting and returning them when they are empty. Transporting general clinical waste and hazardous materials. Delivering some supplies to departments. Assisting the site security officer with car park management. Providing an open/close service. You will be a part of the Security team within the facilities department, based at VIN and will have contact with clinical and non-clinical staff. You could work with nurses, operating department practitioners, healthcare assistants, housekeepers and other security staff.
