Operations Manager- Water Hygiene Industry
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Benefits
A highly respected player within the Water Hygiene industry is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead a growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in operations management and a deep understanding of the water hygiene sector. You will be tasked with overseeing the smooth operation of a busy department and driving the efficiency of internal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Directly manage the operational team, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between engineers and office personnel.
* Oversee scheduling and client work bookings to ensure compliance and keep lead times to a minimum.
* Handle logistics, including managing fleet, equipment and stock to ensure timely delivery and resource utilisation.
* Conduct operational reviews and deliver insights to senior leadership, making data-driven recommendations for process optimisation.
* Support the recruitment, training and development of new staff members to meet the company’s growth demands.
* Contribute to the continual evolution of operational workflows, helping to improve both efficiency and compliance.
* Regularly liaise with management to provide updates and align departmental goals with the company’s strategic direction.
What We’re Looking For:
* A solid track record of multiple years’ experience in an operational leadership role, ideally within water hygiene or a related technical field.
* Strong operational knowledge, including water hygiene protocols, compliance requirements and remediation procedures.
* Excellent leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
* Strong communication abilities, both internally with the team and externally with clients.
* Familiarity with managing logistics, scheduling and systems within a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in operational software and a keen eye for process optimisation.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven role.
* Based within a commutable distance of the office location.

* Salary: £45,000 - £50,000, depending on experience.
